Early Intervention
Early Childhood Intervention is provided by specialist teachers with a broad understanding of child development. They work alongside parents, carers, teachers and health professionals.
Early Childhood Intervention Specialist Teachers:
Work with the family to develop strategies to achieve the goals identified in each child’s National Disability Insurance Scheme (NDIS) plan.
Focus on the child’s strengths and interests to develop functional skills.
Create play-based experiences that enhance and strengthen the child’s capacity in all developmental areas.
Create personalised resources to support the child’s learning and development.
Assist in the transition to school process.
Collaborate with other services to develop opportunities and experiences for participation.
